The music is truly beyond demonic – the crescendo, the powerful interjections – all made me shiver as my imagination ran wild. Nothing in quite like this in Dante’s hell. Reminds me of certain powerful moments in Shostakovich’s 10th or Mahler’s 6th symphonies.
