Cue of the Week: “Taking the Test”

This week’s cue is a second excerpt from the score for Touché: A Blind Fencer’s Story. This reprises the theme presented last week, but in an extended form that features different instrumentation. To wit, the moodier piano from the prior version is replaced with nylon-string acoustic guitar, performed here by Tom Strahle. In these musical clothes, the melody feels more optimistic and down-to-earth. (An appropriate mood for Catherine’s upbeat humor, as she heads out to take a work placement test.)

  1. Thanks for the spelling crtoecoirn. My hubby says spelling is one of my many challenges. I’ve corrected the spelling now. Here’s my second try at a Reply. Maybe my first one worked. Maybe not. I’m still new at the blog. I’m newer at comments which I love -Yeah, Shonda Sunshine said Rose wouldn’t return pregnant. She wouldn’t be returning pregnant. She’d be returning with a little Derek (spelling right this time). It’s a fine line. I’m a writer/lawyer. Believe me, I understand fine lines!!Thanks for the comment. Keep em coming!!!
