The game

This puzzle-solving game about a high school sleuth who solves “nerd crimes” was sadly never released. (It happens.) You can get a sense of the characters and humorous concept from the above splash screen image.

The score

I had a worlds of fun with the score, which combines light-on-its-feet electronic pop with a touch of the Henry Mancini jazz tradition in mystery scoring. Any excuse to write for bass clarinet is a good one in my book.
