Glow the Unicorn ("Karma")

The short

Glow the Unicorn is a series of online animations featuring a style-conscious unicorn who has humorous modern-day adventures. I scored an episode called Karma, where Glow contends with a passive-aggressive rival, an ostrich wearing an ostrich feather cap. It’s cute and ultimately has a positive message.

The music

Cued in by the animation’s visuals, I wrote a score evocative of 1960s Latin-flavored instrumental pop. This kind of music works well for comedic animation, and is great fun to compose.
