1. Sudden Blooms
   

The game

A florally-themed visual puzzle game that had players removing weeds and creating pictures via planting flowers. This Xbox Live Arcade game was one of the first to demonstrate Microsoft XNA.

The score

Drawing from both the floral and outer space imagery, I wrote a rhythmic piece with acoustic and electronic timbres that I thought were evocative of both wide open spaces and blooming.
